Terms and refunds
In short: Try Maki free for 30 days. If you buy it, you pay once and keep using the version you bought. If it isn't right for you, ask for a refund within 30 days of buying.
Who sells Maki
Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy is the seller on your receipt and handles payment, invoices and sales tax or VAT, and its buyer terms apply to the purchase as well. Your licence key arrives in the Lemon Squeezy receipt email, and you can find it again in your Lemon Squeezy orders.
What you get
- A personal licence to use Maki on up to two of your own computers, Windows or Mac. To move it to another computer, choose Settings → System → Licence → Remove from this computer on the old one first.
- Updates for the version you bought. The price is one payment; there is no subscription.
- A free trial with every feature for 30 days. No payment is taken for the trial.
Refunds
- Within 30 days of buying Maki, email us and we'll refund you in full. No reason needed.
- Refunds are issued by Lemon Squeezy to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days. A refunded licence key stops working.
Using Maki
- Don't resell, share or publish your licence key.
- Your boards and files are yours. Maki stores them on your disk and never uploads them; see the privacy page.
- Maki is provided as is. We work to keep it reliable, but keep your own backups of work that matters.
